Read PC Magazines Review of MapPoint 2006
It's difficult to look at a column of numbers and try to visualize data
trends. Whether you want to analyze your own data, develop sales
territories, or plan a marketing program based on demographic data,
Microsoft MapPoint 2006 is the answer. Install MapPoint 2006 on any
Microsoft Windows-based system and you can easily visualize and analyze data
by plotting the results geographically. The new version adds a number of new
features not found in its predecessor, MapPoint 2004, as among them
GPS-based driving and updated demographic databases. The only caveat is that
the most current demographic data available for the app is two years old.
There's plenty of value to the 2004 data—especially as detailed as it is—but
if you're planning a major marketing program in a rapidly changing field it
might not be current enough.
